The Better Beginnings program at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital reaches out to pregnant women who may not have access to health care and provide resources for prenatal care, including: Information on how to access healthcare resources; Assistance scheduling initial prenatal visit; Providing interpreter services when needed; Help in navigating insurance; Arranging transportation to and from prenatal appointments; Assistance following birth to arrange child care or other social services.

Our multicultural advocates visit community-based facilities to educate women about the importance of prenatal care and invite them to receive care at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. All advocates are fluent in English and at least one other language including Spanish, Cape Verdean (Portuguese Creole), Portuguese, Haitian (French Creole), French, Cantonese, or Vietnamese.
