For the Little Ones...

Baby and Me Group - Wednesday afternoons 1:30-3:00pm - A fun informal community play group, which encourages exploration, learning, and social interaction for babies birth to 9 months and their parents. Shake, Toddle, Roll - Fridays 10:00-11:30am - A music and movement, parent and child play group for any Parent/Caregiver with an infant 9-18 months of age. Call Christa Davison at 508-559-0473 x2817 for more information or to register.

South Bay Early Intervention - Monday-Thursday 9:00-11:30am and Monday-Wednesday 1:30-4:00pm - South Bay Early Intervention offers free toddler play groups for all children ages 18-36 months. Group activities include music and dance, arts and crafts, story time, circle time, snacks and field trips are designed to encourage positive relationships, language, and socialization skills, stimulate growth in all areas of child development, and provide a fun learning environment for toddlers. Just Take a Dip and Cool Off...

Manning Pool/Brockton High School - Monday June 27th-August 28th - $3 per day; Season passes - $45 per family/$22 individual/$18 senior citizen. This pool can be found at Brockton High School/Forest Avenue.

Awaken Your Creativity...

Fuller Craft Museum - 10:00am-12:00pm - Saturday Family Studios at the Fuller Craft Museum are a special opportunity for kids of all ages to create inique, hand-made objects. Join us in the Studio each month to create and collaborate with the whole family. Workshops are led by professional artists and are guaranteed to be fun and creative. Members $8 per child, Non-Members $10 per child (max of three children per adult). Advance registration is strongly recommended, space is limited. All materials are includes. Block Parties - Looking for a reason to celebrate? Let Brockton's Promise sponsor your block party! Meet your neighbors, connect with the kids on your block, and FREE FOOD. We will provide: paper products, hot dogs and hamburgers, water, and assistance with organizing. Criteria for eligibility: must be led by a resident of a Brockton neighborhood and have a desier to increase positive relationships within the neighborhood. Easton Children's Museum - Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm; Saturday 12:00pm-4:00pm; Admission is $7.50 per person, Family Membership is $80 for four people; The Old Fire Station/9 Sullivan Avenue/Easton.  During the summer the Easton Children's Museum has Summer Drop in Days for kids which are free with admissions. Summer Drop in Days are a series of fun, educational events held each summer in the Wild Place, the Museum's Outdoor Learning Center.  Each event combines performers and presentations from experts with hands-on art and science activities focusing on a different theme every day. They occur between 10am-3pm each day the museum is open.


When the Sun Goes Down...

Brockton After Dark – June 27-August 19 –Brockton After Dark provides free athletic and enrichment opportunities to Brockton youth ages 13-20, weekday evenings throughout the summer. There are some changes in the locations this year so make sure that participants check the schedule. Friday Night Movies – These events are free! Being your picnic blanket and come enjoy an evening outdoors with your friends and neighbors. Stop by the concession stands and enjoy some tasty treats. Open House: Community Connections of Brockton would to invite you to see the New Family Center and me the Staff. It is on September 23rd from 9:30AM to 3 PM at the Keith School 175 Warren Avenue Room 206.
